Beef Cattle Net is published by Morris Halliburton, owner and operator of Halliburton Farms where he raises registered British White Cattle. Morris has raised cattle for well over a half century and been around cattle all his life. Born on a small family farm in Hunt County Texas and attended grade school at a small two teacher school by the name of Prairie Hill, District #22 through the seventh grade.
Morris has been exposed to many aspects of the cattle industry including many show champions that include the Denver Grand Champion Purebred Chianina Bull in January 1988, the Grand Champion Fullblood Chianina cow at the NAILE, Louisville, Kentucky in November 1988. His last showing was a bred and owned Reserve Grand Champion Fullblood Chianina Bull at the F.I.C.C. Cajun Classic in 1990.
Throughout the years Morris has been very active in Texas A&M and Grayson County Texas Extension activities. He has hosted dozens of extension meetings and other activities at his Farm & Ranch Facility.
One activity that has always stood out is the hosting of a Farm Tour Group from Argentina. You can see a few pictures of that group at this website.
